能源与环境催化材料课题组以“环境友好”为理念，“绿色化学”为指导原 则，从事绿色能源技术、催化材料与技术、环境修复等方面的研究。
Current research interests:
Artificial photosynthesis; (photo)catalysis; water splitting chemistry; carbon based semiconductor materials for solar energy utilization.

Dr. Xiaogang Liu got a doctor degree in physical chemistry from Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) . Now, he is working as a university lecturer in college of chemistry and chemical engineering of Xinyang Normal University . Meanwhile, he is also the principle investigator of Energy& Environment Catalysis Materials group in college of chemistry and chemical engineering of Xinyang Normal University. Particularly, Liu is interested in photocatalysis for environmental cleaning and heterogeneous catalysis for green chemistry. Up to now, more than 10 papers have been published including JACS, JNR, CST and RSC Adv. and so on.
